Rob Sinclair-Harris

Production Assistant

I originally attended The Miskin Theatre as a student in Music Technology, retraining after retiring early from P.E Teaching and after working on this course for a year I came across to become the Theatre’s Production Assistant. I have a back ground in Acting and singing from my school days and attended a drama school in my spare time before completing my A-Levels in Media and English and moving on to University. I studied Marketing Communications for a year and gained Higher National Diploma’s in Law, Marketing and Accounting before changing directions and following a more active career path. I have always had an interest in Sport as a side line and have coached football for 15 years, my degree from the University of Greenwich is in Secondary Level Physical Education with a specialism in Psychology and led to me teaching in secondary schools in South East London and North Kent for 5 Years. I have completed other Special Educational Needs teaching certificates and worked as a sports co-ordinator with Physically and Mentally handicapped youngsters for Charlton Athletic F.C whilst teacher training.

I find myself doing many and varied jobs here at the theatre and as well as working in an educational capacity I have become more and more involved in the shows and work that is put on at the Miskin. With this in mind I’m developing an interest in Audio Visual Media in shows as part of my professional development.
