I have yet to see one completely unspoiled star, except for the animals-like Lassie.

I came to North West Kent as a fashion designer, to run the fashion department. Close involvement with the theatre resulted in many collaborations which were the Fashion show ; a manic, exciting fusion of skills and the talents of the fashion designers, theatre staff and  technicians, actors, musicians and dancers, which always produced a vibrant showcase for the talent and skills of everyone involved.
As the Miskin expanded, my present position as Costume designer and wardrobe mistress has become more challenging in that we now stage about ten productions per year, with casts of forty or more. It is especially rewarding to be part of a  company which encourages honesty, creativity and freedom of approach. To be able to pass on knowledge and skill, enjoying the free exchange of ideas which this way of working allows, helps to maintain a fresh approach to the work. The range of work undertaken at the Miskin gives technicians a unique educational and theatrical experience. As technical director of a strong team of skilled professionals, I hope to build on that to encourage open, creative, confident technicians.
